2022 Summer Camp - In-Person Camp

    • We have 7 sessions (weeks).
      • June 6th through July 22nd.

    • 9:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m.
  • COST:
    • $500 - $425 per session (1 week) - Discounted now!
  • REGISTRATION MINIMUM:
    • No minimum required. You can enroll in only one week or as many weeks as you need.

    • For children 6 TO 14 years old.

June 6-10

Video Game Programming w/ Scratch Level 1

Campers will learn to program using a wide range of coding platforms, including one of the most popular video game software packages available, developed by engineers at MIT's Media Lab. This camp employs a split day format where campers get to spend the morning learning programming skills, and the afternoon is spent completing cooperative online game challenges.


 

June 13-17

Video Game Programming w/ Scratch Level 2

Campers will stretch their programming skills using a wide range of coding platforms including one of the most popular video game software packages available, developed by engineers at MIT's Media Lab. This camp employs a split day format where campers get to spend the morning learning programming skills, and the afternoon is spent completing cooperative online game challenges.


 

June 20-24

Rocking Robotics

Campers will be utilizing building, programming, and mechanical engineering skills to complete daily challenges with our vast robotics kits. Each day we will bring new and more complex challenges that will stretch students' abilities to new heights.  Each student will get to choose to work alone on their own robot or work with another camper.

Students will be grouped by age and curricular support needed and will be working with either our Vex IQ Robotics kits or our Lego Robotics kits.


 

June 27-July 1

3D Printing, Laser Cutting, & Engineering

Campers will work in 3D design software to create a wide range of things and projects to help solve problems. We have a  printer bank waiting for your children's work to print. We will also work with out Glowforge Laser Cutter.  Students will create a personalized pencil cup and a few other laser cut projects. Finally, the week will wrap up with some fun engineering challenges.


 

July 5-8

Stop Motion Animation

Campers will learn and practice Stop Motion Animation via Google Chromebooks.  Students will utilize Chromebook's SMA devices to create amazing stop motion videos. We will place all projects in a Google Drive Folder, share that folder with camp families and upload the projects to our YouTube account.

July 11-15
