About Creative Computing

Your children will use computer coding to create art projects, 3D printed objects, tee shirts, video games and much more. We will take your children's knowledge of computer coding and bring it to the next level.

This camp is for children ages 7 to 14 and the camps are segregated by ages 7 to 10 and 11 to 14.

What will children be doing?

Your children will create stories, tee shirts, video games, music and art projects, and much more using software designed to bring out their creativity!

Why Programming?

Programming is a highly technical endeavor but it doesn't have to be boring. Our instructors - and the Scratch community - make learning object-oriented programming easy, fun, and intuitive. Your children will practice story telling, storyboarding, problem solving and creativity. They will learn to program their own stories, games, and art projects.

Prerequisites

There are no prerequisites to take this camp. We only ask that children who enroll in this camp be ready for fun and creativity, patience and perseverance are also virtues.    

What's Next?

After taking our Creative Computing course we highly recommend our Video Game Programming course, Stop Motion Animation course, Video & Film Production course, and the mBot Robotics course. Many of these same workshops are offered through our sister company Young Makers Lab.
