What are we doing each block?

January/ February 2024 – We are focused on computer programming using a variety of coding applications. All students will create their own Scratch account and begin coding computer video games, animations, stories and more. We will also use Turtle Blocks, MakeCode and similar applications to control robots, make art projects, and much more!

February/March – We will be teaching 3D design and printing using our Creality printers, along with TinkerCad, to teach & practice the design process in order to solve problems. Most instruction in the 3D printing world focuses on the artistic side of the design process. While we love the creative side of design and printing, we also focus our students to try to solve a problem. It’s a tricky balance and we think we do it quite well.

April – We are focused on computer programming using a variety of coding applications. All students will create their own Scratch account and begin coding computer video games, animations, stories and more. We will also use Turtle Blocks, MakeCode and similar applications to control robots, make art projects, and much more! We always teach new and exciting coding projects. Your children will walk away with a new set of skills in computer coding!

May – Robotics! These Saturdays are part building and part programming. Your children love building things. They love using tools and making things work. In these camps your children will have ample opportunity to build, repair, and rebuild. Then they get to program!

Programming is a highly technical endeavor but it doesn’t have to be boring. Our instructors make learning programming easy, fun, and intuitive. Your children will practice story telling, storyboarding, problem solving and creativity.
