About Jr. Robotics
It’s never too early for kids to learn programming and building skills! Our Jr. Robotics Camp will give 6 to 8 year old campers the opportunity to make simple robots perform complicated tasks in a fun and challenging way. The week will focus on learning to program by using block-based coding languages to get their robots to complete a variety of missions. By the end of the week, campers will be creating their own challenges.
This camp is for children ages 6 to 8.

Why Jr. Robotics
Computer programmers continue to top the list of top earners in the professional fields. Schools today are not equipped to teach high level coding skills and this has created a huge demand for programmers that isn't likely to be filled anytime soon. Children who learn programming now will be in a position to land high paying jobs in the future.
Jr. Robotics gives young children the foundation for more complex thinking, and eventually more complex building and coding.
Prerequisites
There are no prerequisites for Jr. Robotics! Remember, campers must be ages 6 to 8.
What's Next?
After taking our Jr. Robotics course we try to point our young engineers toward Engineering Camp, Video Game Programming, mBot Robotics, Creative Coding or Makers Clubs offered through our sister company Young Makers Lab.
