Engineering Class with Minecraft

What: Drop your children off at 6 p.m. We feed your kids, and engage them in one of our many engineering and building challenges using Minecraft. Pickup is at 9 p.m.

Who: Children ages 6 to 12

When: Twice monthly on Friday Nights.  (We hold class on the first and last Friday of each month.)

Cost: $40 per coder - Additional discounts apply when you register more than one Minecraft Engineer!

Where: 5455 N. Federal Highway, Suite F, Boca Raton, 33487 (We are in the same building as the Melting Pot restaurant. How convenient - drop the kids off for Minecraft Coding and enjoy a romantic dinner at your favorite fondue place!)

We allow ages 6 to 12.

We will give students fun, cooperative engineering/building challenges on our in-house Minecraft servers.

We enjoy having students working together to complete building and engineering challenges.

No. We don't use the commercial version of Minecraft. We have an education version of Minecraft known as MinecraftEdu.

Students will log into our in-house servers and work on cooperative engineering challenges.

The times below are an approximation and depend on many factors.

5:55 p.m. - We open the doors. (Not earlier)

6:00 p.m. - We introduce our staff and instruct re: the opening challenge for the night.

Throughout the evening - We broadcast the students work on our projectors so that everyone can see their amazing work.

6:10 p.m. - Students log into our in-house MinecraftEdu server and begin our opening challenge.

6:45 p.m. - We break for pizza dinner. Kids get two slices of cheese pizza, chips and cookies or fruit snacks.

7:15 p.m. - We instruct re: our evening challenge and students log into our in-house server to engage in the evening challenge.

8:55 p.m. - 5 minute warning is issued.

9:00 p.m. - Our servers are shut down and students go home.
