2024 Sessions

June 3rd to June 7th

Ages 6 to 9

Video Game Programming

We help campers to create their own video games, art and music applications, stories & more using Scratch. Your children will create their own Scratch accounts – accessible from any internet connected device, forever! Many previous Campers tell us they still use Scratch to create school presentations, games, quizzes, stories and the like.

Ages 6 to 9

mBot Robotics

Campers will build, expand, program & take home their own mBot Neo Robot. Our week begins with building the robot out of the box. This robot is controllable through the remote control AND our campers will learn/practice coding the robot to run autonomous programming. There is almost nothing (within reason) that this robot can’t do!

mBot Robotics

Campers will build, expand, program & take home their own mBot Mega Robot. Our week begins with building the robot out of the box. This robot is controllable through Bluetooth connection AND our campers will learn/practice coding the robot to run autonomous programming. This robot understands Scratch-based block coding, Arduino coding, as well as Python Coding languages. There is almost nothing (within reason) that this robot can’t do!

June 17th to June 21st

Ages 6 to 9

Creative Computing

Campers will use & practice their knowledge of computers and create some very cool projects. Campers will stretch their programming skills using a wide range of coding platforms including one of the most popular video game software packages available, developed by engineers at MIT’s Media Lab. Campers will use computer coding skills to create art & music projects as well as storytelling, animations and much more!

Fabrication – 3D Design and Printing

Introduce your child to the world of digital fabrication, where they can produce in the real world whatever they can imagine and create on a computer! We will work with powerful 2D and 3D design software that is appropriate for kids, but still able to make complex objects. Then we will teach your child to produce their designs on a variety of digital fabrication machines, including the Creatlity Ender 3 Pro (3D Printer), the Glowforge Laser Cutter, the Silhouette Vinyl Cutter, the DrawBot and much more! Participants will take home all of their creations!

Ages 10 -14

MakerCamp

This camp is for kids who like to make interesting, artistic, and technical inventions! We will make a variety of amazing projects that move, draw, fly, grab, and most of all make kids think.
