What Are Kids Learning In Your Camps?

November 20, 21, & 22 – MakerCamp
This camp is for kids who like to make interesting, artistic, and technical inventions! We will make a variety of amazing projects that move, draw, fly, grab, and most of all make kids think. Children will bring home projects that they complete.

December 26, 27, 28, 29 – Robotics & Computer Programming
Combining colorful LEGO building elements, easy-to-use hardware, and an intuitive drag-and-drop coding language based on Scratch, SPIKE Essential continuously engages students through playful learning activities to think critically and solve complex problems, regardless of their learning level. We will also challenge children’s thinking with Dash & Dot robots & electronic devices such as micro:bits.

January 2, 3, 4, & 5 – Computer Coding w/ Scratch
Campers will learn to program using a wide range of coding platforms, including one of the most popular video game software packages available, developed by engineers at MIT’s Media Lab. This camp employs a split day format where campers get to spend the morning learning programming skills, and the afternoon is spent completing cooperative online game challenges.
